MiNELL – The Minett Nature an Ëmwelt LéierLab also offers activities for everybody living in the Minett UNESCO Biosphere and the rest of the Grand Duchy. We want to enable citizens to discover the biological, geological and industrial-cultural richness of Luxembourg’s South.
Taste the forest
In nature, we discover and collect herbs and plants which grow in spring.
Together with herbalist Christiane Laures, we learn to identify them and cook with them to create different taste experiences.
The event is free of charge, you’ll just have to register in advance.

Geological discovery tour in the “Giele Botter” nature reserve, together with geologist Romain Meyer.
During the hike in the former open cast mine, we will discover the origins of the minett iron ore and you’ll get to know why this iron ore is unique on our planet.
